Today sec1s got scolding from cyndi, SOME OF YOU ONLY .
SinWei, work hard please . You are a sec2, & the sec1s could play better then you ! I know you are upset, but im sure you can catch up de ! Jys[: && Dont always give reason not coming to band, etc. Church . Is the church really that important to you ? Reflect on what you should do .
Angie, you looked angry when cyndi is scolding you . Your problem is talk back & giving attitude to seniors . && when we talk to you, please give us a happy face[: I want to see you smile often[: You can come find me if you have any problems, be more *Tan Bai*
KengYee, Idk what to say about you . You looked like your gonna cry in no time . But you hold your tears, am i right ? Cheer up:DD Idk why cyndi scold you .__. I think you are quite hardworking, but not good enough ! I know you can play much better(: && I think that theres something wrong with the attendance book, your percentage should be higher then SinWei mar .

HELLO! :D
i want to take this time to thank the section :D
Clarinet section, we have been through a lot since the day you guys joined MCB.
I will never forget the times we spent together, practicing and screaming at each other, laughing together, i love clarinet section 08/09 to the max!
I have already step down and now it's up to you guys to make this section better.
MCB woodwinds are suppose to be stronger than the brass!
So, please do practice hard when i graduate.
SYF 09 is the most memorable time of my secondary school life. Band played a huge part in my life and you guys too! :D
So, i want to thank all the SYF people, Ashiqin, Joyce, Fatin, Si Yuen, Roxanne, Samuel, Hyo Jung and last but not least, our awesome section leader, Cyndi.
Without her, i don't think we would have make it this far.
She is scary, she is strict, but she is doing this because of the band and section.
So i urge you guys to really thank her on wednesday or thursday, before we graduate.
Okay, here goes...
Ashiqin: You know what? You are the coolest junior i ever had. The slapping and all the stuff you told me, i'm really glad you trust me that much. I really appreciate all the hard work you put in during the SYF period. I will miss you when I'm gone. Be a nice senior towards the juniors kay! Don't bully them like how you bully me. :D I have so many things to tell you and teach you, but i can't... So, you have to figure it out yourself! :D
Joyce: You ah, only know how to laugh. :D Only know how to make fun of me right? Tsk, i don't look like wondergirls! (: I really appreciate all the hard work you put in during the SYF period and train the juniors more! I have confidence that you will bring this section up to its previous standards! Jiayou!
Fatin: YOU ARE TOO QUIET! You have to speak up more! (: I don't really know you well, since you don't open up to me, so talk more kay! BE LIKE ME! SPEAK UP! You are the most hardworking person in the section, sitting in one corner, practicing. I really appreciate the hard work in put in during the SYF period! Jiayou!
Si Yuen: SLEEP LESS PRACTICE MORE! Sleeping during sectionals! Tsk, think i don't know? If i see you sleep again, i'll make sure you will never wake up! HAHAHA JUST KIDDING :D Thank you for all the hard work you have put in during the SYF period, i know it's tiring but we pulled it off right! :D
Roxanne: sigh, my dear junior, you give me the most headache but also make up a huge part of my life in band. Don't stress yourself too much kay? If you have any problems, give me a call and i'll try to help. :D I won't be with you next year, so if you are feeling stress or unhappy, you can always tell the section. They can cheer you up! With Ashiqin's nonsense, Joyce's crazy laughter, Fatin's smile and Si Yuen's craziness, i believe they won't leave you in the lurch. :D And enjoy the last 2 years in band. You will miss it terribly, because i do. JIAYOU KAY! O LEVELS NEXT YEAR! WORK HARDER! :D
Samuel: hello my dear asl cum slacker. :D Cut a nicer hairstyle kay! ( I'm just kidding! ) Your hair is the most fascinating part of you. :D and i mean it in a good way! WORK HARDER ASL! Even joyce can do a better job in teaching the sec 1s! As the only bass clarinet player, you have to work hard! Find a junior to continue playing the bass clarinet! :D The bass clarinet is an awesome instrument, suit your personality well! :D
Hyo Jung: I don't know what to say about you... I've only known you for less than 2 years. But i know you have put in a lot of hard work for this SYF and i really appreciate it. :D well, you are the smart person and i know you will make it into a good JC, so ALL THE BEST!
Cyndi: No amount of words can express the emotional times we spent together from sec 1 to sec 4. The times in Japan, SYF 07, expressing our hate towards Jill, and many many other things. But i'm really happy to have you as a friend. :D
CLARINET SECTION, you guys rock kay! :D i may have graduate from this school but you guys can always find me if you face any problems :D SYF 2011, make all the graduating seniors proud! (:

im back again, this time to apologise for the stupid things i did today after band practice ):

i'll accept whatever you all dish out to me on friday as punishment be it running rounds, push ups, aiya, whatever it maybe.
but please dont torture me xD

HELLO :D
Im glad to see that there is an improvement in the attendance today. Out of the 9 sec one clarinetists we have, six came, an improvement from monday. But however, this is not enough. It is really disappointing to see only 10 chairs in the first row in which 60% are sec one. It is alr june, six months have passed by, do you think at this rate you all will be able to play music for the next competition? Im not scolding you all but this is a gentle reminder to you all to buck up.
The next practice is on friday which is sectionals. I hope to see All of you there. And from next practice onwards, whenever you are absent, you need to produce a letter or mc if you are sick and give it to me. Up till now the following people owes me letters or mc(s).

Tzu Han-Two letters
Regina-Two letters
Huei Min-Two letters
There should be a valid reason in which why you did not come. And also from friday, i only want to see maximum two letters from you all . In other words, you all can only be absent from band practice for 2 times with VALID reasons. Of course the lesser the letters, the better. I want to see the letters on friday if not..All this applies to all other Seniors too.
I hope all of you will understand the purpose of this post and come for all future band practices. I know you guys can do it so pls work hard.

do you know that for every member missing without reason, the section has to run 1 round around the 3 basketball courts? No, i dont think you know. Why? cos you havent been going for band.
It's one for all and all for one, i hope that you people will see this and come for band with a totally new and energized mindset, once again, i repeat. it's all for one and one for all. you're a part of the clarinet section, a part of the band. I'm sure you'd enjoy it even more if you're attending band more often and the clarinet section will come to love you even more!
do you know, everytime i count the total number of clarinetists at the sidebar of this blog, i will feel happy.
why? cos we have 19 clarinetists! but then when i go for band, there would usually only be 12 clarinetists,and if you exclude the graduating seniors and count the first row of the band, there'd only be 8 players.

whatever happened to the supposedly 13 players?
not only will the band sound good, but the clarinet section will also feel proud of you all if everyone came for practice! i've said enough, i hope that those reading this blog will reflect, Sec ones especially. if you put your heart and soul into it, im sure you will enjoy it.
i hope to see all of you all present for the next practice, ready to learn.
